Characters Background (in relation to the RP):
Meredy is a lively, cheerful girl with poofy lilac colored hair to match. Easily excitable and friendly, she's very loyal to those she cares about and is resolute in her words and actions, being an overall rather determined individual. She's an optimist, always hoping for the best and willing to put someone else's needs in front of her own. Somewhat naïve and innocent about many things, she is nevertheless very proficient in magic, learning new spells easily, particularly ones pertaining to Charms, Transfigurations, and Care of Magical Creatures. Even in the classes she struggles with, namely History of Magic and Divinations, she always puts her best foot forward and greets everything with enthusiasm.

Heralding from a country named Celestia, Meredy's first language is Melnics and thus her English seems rather childish, but this does not stem from a lack of intelligence. A pureblood, born to an English wizard and a Celestian witch, behind the cheerfulness lies a girl with a tumultuous past, with her father killed by dark wizards and her mother a powerful dark witch. To this day, it is unknown whether her mother is simply a victim of the Imperious Curse or if she is truly wicked herself, and many presume her dead. Meredy does not follow this path however, believing strictly in what's right, even if it would mean eventually opposing her mother. She has lived on her own from a young age, but if this fact bothers her, it isn't apparent.

Even though she is a pureblood, English wizarding customs are still a tad foreign to her, so at times she can almost be confused for a muggleborn. But she is eager to learn and is curious about the world around her. Possessing a penchant for the cold (as Celestia is a cool place), she fits right into the brisk British climate and with her pet Quickie she aims to do her best, often exclaiming "You bet!" with enthusiasm.
